Eventually, as human beings, we know that in everything that humankind invented for us, there is a huge benefit behind the great innovation that contributes a massive advantage in all sorts of fields that we pursuing and acknowledging right now. Even, recently, we face a bigger attack that shook around the world, which is the Covid-19 Pandemic, which makes draught into an unbelievable nightmare for us. With the help of thousands of scientists and researchers, all of the hard work finally pays off with the invention of vaccine boosters, which we got relief from the disastrous moment even more hopefully. Right now, we can see ubiquitous that everyone has taken their vaccine boosters around the world, to have safe and secure health protected from their families and everyone. So, this is an example of the contribution of human beings that set a huge benefit for us, and with that, we should take care properly and wisely, so that our act of negligence shouldn’t raise a critical environment.
Whenever any kind of emergency situation happens to us or our beloved ones, for example, get to fall heart attack, the first thought in our mind strikes dialing the emergency number. As soon as possible the ambulance will arrive at our house and get the respective ill person to the hospital as fast as a thunderbolt before making the situation even worse. Well, time is a good friend for us in good times, but at the same moment an enemy for us in bad times. Most of the workers who are in the rush hour situation reach the workplace or home after long hours of office work, none other than less, sure we can 100% predict, that the road will be full of traffic jams. According to Malaysian Road Laws, take for an example, highway roads were separated into three lanes, which is the first lane for the direct fast link, the second lane for the direct slow link mainly for drivers who were not the type of fast drivers, this both only for light vehicles category only. Apart from that, the third lane for heavy vehicles like trucks, lorries, bulldozers, etc, which were loaded with supply things should use the third highway link, so that can avoid clashes with light vehicles.
Even though there is a law in action to pursue us to follow the correct lane, we have created our own laws for ourselves by entering any lane without acknowledging other drivers’ insecurities, and without obeying the rules & regulations considered by government authorities. From all of this, there are people who clearly didn’t bother other drivers’ situations whether they were in times of emergency, they keep on continuing their act of negligence causing other people's lives in danger mark.
The main purpose of EMERGENCY LANE were created by government authorities to lend a way for ambulance vehicles, so they can reach the hospital in a nick of time, to save one patient’s life who striving in pain. But nowadays, the purposes were totally different and unusual, most of the drivers including those who do not drive ambulances were using the lane for their own purposes needs. As mentioned before, people who are stuck in heavy traffic jams, do not have a choice but also other than to use the emergency lane for their own needs. It’s totally can be seen, as a driver's irrational thinking. Of course, they have their own typical reason to share which is normally, they will argue about, long heavy traffic jams make them feel uncomfortable and they were in a rush of emergency situations happens at their heading places. Thus, the emergency lane helps them to reach more faster and quickly to their heading place. This is an undeniable moment, giving an irrational answer from irrational thinking.
When people kept started using the same reasons, it becomes a virus to spread onto other people's minds to follow them, as an encouragement to use the emergency lane and in the end, there is no more purpose for ambulances using the lane. It’s such a bad idea to think out even in this kind of situation happens. But, if we put a side to the reasons they give to pass through the lane, sometimes all the drivers were not lying about their emergency situation. Some are really in a desperate moment to cross over the heavy traffic jams so that they can reach quickly to their heading place.
But, the law is for everyone, whether they were big shots also, they need to obey the law. Not treat them as special. Sometimes, there are good-hearted people to help others in facing emergency situations. For an instance, this scene happened at a bus stop. A pregnant lady who waiting for her bus, suddenly she got breaks her water tube, and much even worse blood got started flowing out from the lady's body. She was obviously screaming in pain to get help from anyone. Luckily by God's Grace, A man was standing beside her rushing towards her for lending help, he even gets also in a panic moment, and without thinking so much, he call an ambulance to fetch her.
As mentioned before, time sometimes look like a good friend to us in a certain situation, but at the same moment, time look like an enemy to us in certain situation we face. For her moment, time becomes an enemy. As long as the blood came from her body, she got into a paralyzed situation. This makes him more frustrated and panic, even after he calls the ambulance, they still not yet arrive at the place. Without wasting time, he took her and get inside in his car, and drive as fast as possible to reach the hospital. God leads us in different ways to help each other in the striving moment, for him, that’s the way. Again, time becomes an enemy to them, when he reaches the highway, the whole road is blocked with heavy traffic jams, without giving space to anyone. This is the sight of irrational thinking of one human being. Act of negligence becomes more common when this kind of situation happens.
He even didn’t know that this kind of heavy traffic jam was occurring, and it makes even worse for them. Sometimes doing bad things for a good one in an emergency situation, is not worth evil things to do. So, he gets his car into the emergency lane to reach the nearby hospital as fast as lightning. In the end, he could save the woman and baby's lives more securely. But, he gets a fine for using the emergency lane for his own purposes and needs and he didn’t care much also, all matters are he can save both lives in the nick of time even in panic and heavy traffic jams situations. This shows rational thinking people still live among us.
Thus, let’s be first, rational thinking persons in our daily life as much as possible to avoid this kind of extrusion situation happening and make sure we use the things properly what they were made for.
